“There is Nothing Heavier Than a River” - Red Room Poetry

Based off of the poem “There is Nothing Heavier Than a River” by Georgina Reid, this short film portrays the beauty of the interconnectedness of life and the acceptance of its cycle, through the visual metaphor of a river.

This short film was brought to life with members Angela Cao, Linda Ye and Vivienne Yao as a part of a collaborative project with Red Room Poetry and UTS.

Few of my own visual developments and the film’s final storyboard. To get a more thorough walkthrough of our process, check out the group’s tumblr!
